Ramir is an OC from a comic i'm slowly working on, and basically she is a terrible obnoxious jerk that recently got superstrength and invulnerability, and everyone around her regrets it. her greatest aspiration in life is to be a crime lord like her grandma, or at LEAST a supervillain. she likes long walks on the beach and italian food.

hello, futurology!!! my name is A and I'll be your new resident Wanda Maximoff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. she comes post-Age of Ultron, and while the movie isn't terribly new, please let me know if you'd like to avoid spoilers in any fashion!

in general, Wanda can be a little Intense, but she's a pretty cool person once she finds herself more comfortable around people. she's what they call an "Enhanced" in the MCU, which means she has some pretty cool powers; this is including (but not limited to) mental manipulation and telepathy. I have a permissions post for that and I'd love all of you a lot if you'd take a look and fill it out accordingly! there's even a nifty form that you can copy and paste. uvu

Hello! My name is Lofn and, first of all, I must say how excited I am to be a part of this community!! I really look forward to playing here with everyone. o7

I'm bringing with me Marian Hawke from Dragon Age, specifically from the second game in the series, which is quite eloquently named Dragon Age II. Hawke tends to go by just Hawke because that's apparently what everyone calls her. (Having a customisable first name also doesn't help, but at least part of her name gets voiced. That's more than some protags can say.)

Her name is fairly ignominious at home but that won't stop her from using it here. She wouldn't be surprised however if she gets a 'reputation' soon enough as, whenever she tries to help, things usually end up bloody and on fire. While she's generally well meaning, she's sarcastic and sociable which isn't always a good combination, and she's been known to be a right asshole. So. If you'd like to be sassed, she's more than likely to oblige. She's also known to have an occasional flirt with friendly people. A great way to bond and build camaraderie, right?

Also she's a mage. Magic's a rather fraught political issue back home, so seeing so much of it around her with so little fuss will be intriguing--especially if there are sane mages! Learning about different kinds of magic would be of great interest to her provided there's no demons or blood sacrifice.

As for me, I can be reached by PM or at nacreousdream. I'm around in general and will do my best to get back within a day for any plotting/questions! I'm not sure what my schedule is going to be like for the next two weeks exactly but I'm always up for a chat if I'm around! I am currently getting back into RP as a hobby so my plurk is mostly that, mixed with some travel and fandom garbage.

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be here. I'm Katy, and I'm here to let you rp with your phone/computer assistant. She took over Clippy's job awhile ago, don't ask her about it, it was a big deal.

...so yeah, this is Cortana from the video game series called Halo. She's your resident little floating being with all of the answers turned into the best ally and friend ever, basically. I'm sorry to say that she will not be scheduling things for you, and won't be going off to fight Siri... but at least you'll get to keep your Start menu.

Cortana is an A.I. that's projected off into a hologram in canon, so she'll have a human body here! That's going to be fun. Mostly, she's a pretty nice person—she likes her job, saving the world, and most of the people that come with it. She's coming from the end of Halo 4! Hi, folks! I'm lyn, and I'm bringing in Koltira Deathweaver, of Warcraft (and very little fame, as he's a relatively minor NPC). He's a blood elf, which means he can sense/eat magic, and he's a death knight, which means he's undead and disgusting! He was born in a beautiful, magical realm of eternal autumn that was subsequently devastated by the Scourge army, then raised to serve mindlessly among their number (as the Scourge is wont to do). He did lots of bad things.

Koltira's a free man now, but he's still saddled with a nasty curse that makes him want to hurt other people on the regular. If he ignores these impulses for too long, he'll lose his mind and go into a blood-seeking hysteria. He does his level best to deny this curse, but it's the kind of thing that worsens exponentially over time. That definitely won't be a problem at all, I'm sure.

He has a big sword named Byfrost, glowy tattoos, and he's honestly not unhappy to be here--because when we last left him, he was being pierced with metal hooks and dragged into a portal for yet another round of brainwashing enslavement.

Hi, Futurology! I'm Ginko and I'm bringing in Rin Tohsaka from the Fate/[put something here] series! It's awesome to be in the game and I look forward to meeting and threading with everyone. c:

Rin comes from about halfway through the new anime/Unlimited Blade Works route of Fate, just before her betraying loser of a Servant faces off against some guy in blue spandex so she doesn't die (yes, it's all very exciting). For the basics, Rin is a magus in the Fate universe, which is a fancy way of saying she's able to use magic! She's worked to become a full-fledged magus since the day she was born, so she's the real deal—she casts spells and does lots of other magic-y things. Rin's also a Master in the Holy Grail War! Her app is here for more info.

Most importantly, though, Rin is the textbook example of a tsundere. See how well she composes herself. It's amazing. Please bring me all your CR, she needs girl friends and more boys/men who look twice her age to scream at

So: I bring you Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; specifically, he's from the current comics run by IDW, which may be a little different from the cartoons of your youth (depending on when your youth was) but is an A++ ride and shit's gotten so real recently and just take this helpful diagram and consider reading it.

Leo himself isn't that different than most adaptations of this series, though: he's the responsible guy who makes plans, adheres to ~duty~, and gives his brothers frowny faces for not working with the plan and fulfilling their duty. Also a big nerd re: martial arts, loves training training training!!!, and does not understand RP but oh my god, does he try.

Dipper is a twelve year old kid who's been spending his summer vacation in the small town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, and was using up all his free time chasing down the paranormal in an attempt to find out where it's all coming from. So he loves mysteries and spooky stuff and will act like he's well versed in all that, but he's mostly just a tiny nerd with a huge obsession.

Hello, everybody! My name is Silvie and I just got accepted this afternoon. I've brought along a heroine from Tales of Legendia, an old Tales of mothership title from the PS2. It's about a bunch of people with sparkly fingernails, baking, and the occasional musical interlude. (I'm not joking. This happens during the game's introduction and is implied to be a regular happenstance in Werites Beacon.)

As for Shirley herself, she's a shy and soft-spoken girl who is trying really hard to make peace between her race, the aquatic Ferines, and the humans of her world, the Orerines. She's able to do this because of her position and abilities as the Merines: she can hear the voice of Nerifes, her home world's ocean, and convey its will. She's not physically strong, but she's a talented spellcaster with an arsenal of super pink artes to help back up the frontliners. Oh, and she's a pretty good baker. So if we ever get access to some kind of kitchen/bakery, you can bet she'll be putting together some goodies for her coworkers!

But on the bright side I've apped someone with an identically terrible haircut!! This is Lancer (shockingly not his real name) from Fate/stay night, brought in from the Unlimited Blade Works route. For the canonblind, he's a very dead hero kept alive as a spirit Servant to fight in what's basically a magical battle royale. Even though he's a dick sometimes, he's usually morally decent and friendly and will gladly badger people who accidentally make his acquaintance. Standard disclaimer not to call him a dog, but otherwise please mock his shoulderpads/cultural inaccuracy/existence as you please.

C: i'll be playing olivia from shipping: the game aka fire emblem: awakening. in the game, she functions mainly as support by reinvigorating the other fighters with her dancing... seriously. in gameplay it essentially means the affected character gets a second turn, but icly they treat it as everyone getting an extra boost of morale!! and energy!! so if she happens to dance for your character, they'll probably just feel really happy and inspired... like endorphins after exercising, except olivia was the one doing all the work, wow. >:'c

but don't let her occupation and scandalous attire fool you! she's quite skittish and easily embarrassed. she also happens to have like zero self-esteem so i apologize in advance for all her... apologizing...

Yo, hello. I'm Inc and I'm brand new, bringing you Kirito from SAO. He's from the light novels, so there are a few little differences here and there. Basically, while everyone thinks he's a badass swordsman hero dude, he's really just a huge troll, dork, and about as awkward as anybody has ever been and loves anything and everything gaming-related. Actually, he's straight out of an MMORPG in his world. He also does a mean Jedi impression since he's canonly a huge Star Wars geek.

Anyways, he's terrible and can be rude and blunt because he has no social awareness at all, but he has a heart of gold, really! I apologize in advance for him.

Hi Futurology! I'm Avi, and above is Sion Astal from Legend of Legendary Heroes which shall be henceforth renamed to LOLheroes in the interest of preserving my sanity. Sion's the genuinely kindhearted, naive sort who, due to the hand of fate and one or two cosmically preordained events, so happened to become the Hero King of his country, and shortly thereafter embark on a campaign to prevent the world from meeting its cyclical destruction...! Something which is happening in just ten short years.

And as if that weren't enough, as the King of Roland, he also gets to play vessel to an eldritch horror which is fighting with him for control of his body on the dl. But ah, that's just the icing on the cake.

In any case, Sion is also remarkably self-sacrificing and self-effacing in turn, so he'll be quite happy to lend ALASTAIR his might, as well as protect as many of his teammates as he is able—while teasing them.

She'll be coming in from a recent episode, Face the Raven, but there shouldn't be any major spoilers for the current series involved in tagging with her. For those of you that don't know the series, she's an English teacher from London who is a reckless control freak that travels around in a police box time machine with an alien called the Doctor. She's used to saving planets and going to crazy places to have adventures, so this will all be right up her alley. I'm really looking forward to having her in game, I've been keeping an eye on things here since the first test drive. Things look like so much fun, so I'm excited to be here!
