After a lot of debating with myself, I've decided, at last, to send Kung Jin home. IT REALLY BREAKS MY HEART TO DROP, but I've been flagging since well before the S1 finale... and with apps upon us and a lot of his closest CR gone, I might as well free up a spot for some new blood!

Jin's had a wild ride being in Audentes (and then Hathaway) over the last year and a half. The character arc I was able to write for him has been everything I wanted and more. I'm so, so happy to have had the opportunity to play him in such a fun game and against such awesome characters; thanks for taking a chance on a random-ass fighting game character lmfao, it has meant so much to me. My time in this game has absolutely been one of my favorite RP experiences ever, and I'm gonna hang onto these memories real close.

Ughhhhh. I was hoping that things would straighten themselves out this month, but life continues to wallop me with one (long, unnecessarily complicated) thing after another. Everything is happening at the same time and why in god’s name won’t it slow down for a moment? January was amazing and I adored threading with everyone. Hopefully things will be back to that level of normal soon so I can give this game and all of y’all the time and attention you deserve. But until then I’m afraid I’ll have to drop for the time being, but I’ll be stalking the game from the sidelines.

not sure if this is appropriate but a family emergency has me quitting my job and moving cross country to help out at home, so i've had to drop. (and i didn't want to just disappear in case people didn't see my comment on that post!) i was hoping not to have to drop at all, but it's obvious after this week that i just don't have the time i'd like to devote to this amazing place!

hopefully i'll be able to come back in the future when things settle down, but if not, i've had a blast and thank you so much to everyone who was willing to socialize with this angry one!

hello friends, i am not quite yet back from my hiatus!! i've got another con coming up, so expect to see me skulking around again after nov 12th or so.

however, i'm also dropping ramir :[ i've had an awesome run with her and i've loved my time with her in the game (she's been around almost the whole time it's been open, whaaat!), but i am gonna bow out before i totally exhaust myself from playing her. i'd be happy to talk out/handwave any goodbyes and goodbye presents, but i'm hangin up the ramir-tagging-machine for now.

I'm sure!! Everyone I don't have on plurk has essentially figured that I'm Not Really Present in the game much anymore, so.. yes, unfortunately, I'll be dropping Papyrus, and thus with that, Futurology entirely. THIS GAME IS, WAS, AND WILL PROBABLY MY FAVORITE GAME I'VE EVER BEEN IN!!! Everyone is amazing and beautiful and I love you all, which is why I've struggled with officially dropping for so long. Honestly, it's been voice burnout on Papyrus for a while now, but don't worry THIS WON'T BE THE LAST YOU SEE OF ME!!!! I WILL RETURN!! STRONGER!! BETTER!! SASSIER!!

Don't worry though, Papyrus and Ban definitely got married at some point, their ship will sail forever.

as i said over on plurk, i feel like i've lost contact with this game over the past two months with my hiatus. i'm being promoted at work at the end of this month so i'll be struggling to manage my time and fear i won't be able to give the conclusion the time i'd like to!

so, i'm dropping until season 2 to give myself time to recoup and come back stronger! <3

So. I have to admit that Futuro hasn't been my priority game lately. And I don't feel right on that, especially with the cap and the app queue. That and especially with the second 'season' and dealing with the reapps there in not wanting to take up a spot there that someone else wouldn't then have to wait. So, I'm going to be dropping with Sakura. It's been a wild (er, almost?) two years though guys and I loved it and all the cr that eventuated from it. I think the main thing would be dealing with Keroberos, whoever she might leave him with. But I can at least probably thread out some goodbye's via inbox if her closer cr wanted.

I'll miss her cr and you guys oocly. Keep on keeping on, Futuro.

This has been a terribly difficult decision to make, but... I'm going to be dropping Genos. Thank you everyone for who tagged with him during his time here. It's been a blast! I haven't seen many games in my short dwrp career, but Futuro is absolutely, freaking amazing and I'm so glad I was part of that.

Because I'm weak, I decided to let him go via team-transfer, so who knows what might happen in the future.

Futuro has been a big part of what made this year so awesome, thank you for that!

Unfortunately my life + priorities have shifted enough that it's no longer sustainable for me to be in a plot-heavy game such as Futuro, especially one that's capped. Riza will be transferring to another team (because I'm weak and like keeping my options open); feel free to assume she hit up your character's inbox before she left. If you'd like to discuss the outcome of an ongoing thread, feel free to hit me up.

I did buy you all a farewell gift with my mountain of AC coins but I'll let the mods take care of that when they get around to it. (Spoilers: it involves a pretty sweet dragon.)

This has been an incredibly difficult decision to make, but I will be dropping Achilles from the game. After a year of adventure and development, it is time for him to go back to Troy and meet his fate. I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who has tagged with him during my time here. I tried Achilles out on a whim, and I hadn't the faintest inkling that he would be so well received, nor that I would be able to accomplish so much with him. This has truly been a rewarding roleplay experience!

Thanks to our magnanimous mods, I do have a grace period of about three weeks in which to wrap up Achilles' story. I'll keep going with current threads and plans I made, and before the new mission starts I'll hit inboxes for farewell threads. ICly, Achilles will depart as the rest of Audentes is sent to Leramzen in two weeks. (It's for the best that I won't be able to participate...I'd never be able to spell that without looking it up...)

Fear not, for you are not rid of me just yet. I do have an app for a new character ready to go, so hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back to harass you all once more.

— I will be on hiatus for this upcoming month of April to recharge my RP batteries and hopefully stop sucking. Riza will be on a hiatus mission so feel free to handwave your character knows she's MIA for the next few weeks.

— I am dropping Aang as I unfortunately do not have the time or energy to handle two characters. He is going home via special drop and is very sad to leave all his friends in ALASTAIR. I have a couple IC gifts to give out so expect those in your inboxes soon, but feel free to handwave he said goodbye and gave your character a hug. Otherwise, there is a set of windchimes hanging off a tree by the squidge garden in Oska that Lloyd gave him, so please think of him whenever you hear them ringing in the wind. :(b

I've been considering this all of last month, to be honest, because I really love this game and its playerbase so much, but to keep in line with my New Year's resolution, I decided to drop Futurology. I've had a wonderful time here, and I loved everyone I played with, so thank you for giving me such a great experience.

Hello, friends!

I've tried to get back into the swing of this game and I was so excited about a bunch of prospective CR, but I've done some ~soul searching~ and realised that Futurology just isn't my main game right now and constantly ends up on the backburner. And with how plot heavy it is, that makes it impossible for me to keep up. And squatting isn't really cool in a capped game and all that jazz.

There's been many a great thread and awesome CR and I'm gonna miss playing with you guys! CR is always what makes me hesitate to drop but always, ultimately, what isn't enough to keep up interest in a game. It's a sad thing.

Keep being cool players and have fun! Tsukuyo will just disappear without notice. There's at least one thread I only just started but I'm gonna be dropping everything.

Hey futuro-folks! I'm sorry to admit that I've been flagging for some time. It's time to finish with this bandaid I've been peeling. Besides the flagging, the rest of the game has been wonderfully fun--thank you for helping me to flesh out a challenging character and for building meaningful ties that pushed him beyond his stuffy original limits. I'll always really appreciate that.

I hope the timeline saving goes awesomely, but Laedo's got his ticket home.

I've enjoyed the hell out of my time here, but I haven't been feeling it lately, and that plus a rough patch IRL means I'm going to bite the bullet and drop now rather than drag on while scraping by and hold up a spot that somebody with more energy could take. I've loved this game, it's the first one I've really considered a home game, and I'll be leaving with very fond memories of the lot of you, and some good friends to boot.

Hey guys, Kels here, and I'm unfortunately going to have to say goodbye to this game for a while.

My health has been getting worse and worse lately, but the last few weeks have proven that I'm just going to be pretty much nonfunctioning until I can get things figured out. And in a capped game, sitting on a character while I get things under control just isn't cool.

I really hope to be back some day, since this game is so much fun and all of you guys are so talented and amazing! Until then, stay cool futuro ;w; I'll miss you.

So I've been struggling to get back into the swing of things since my hiatus, and RL is very busy at the moment, so I'm going to be dropping Darc. He's the kind of character who'd want to get heavily involved in everything, and I just haven't had the time to do him justice, and while there are people waiting to get in to the game it doesn't seem fair to keep him around in the hope that I'll get back on the ball with him 'at some point'. I've really enjoyed all my threads with him and may bring him back at a later date, but for now he's off.
