Hello! My name is Lofn and, first of all, I must say how excited I am to be a part of this community!! I really look forward to playing here with everyone. o7

I'm bringing with me Marian Hawke from Dragon Age, specifically from the second game in the series, which is quite eloquently named Dragon Age II. Hawke tends to go by just Hawke because that's apparently what everyone calls her. (Having a customisable first name also doesn't help, but at least part of her name gets voiced. That's more than some protags can say.)

Her name is fairly ignominious at home but that won't stop her from using it here. She wouldn't be surprised however if she gets a 'reputation' soon enough as, whenever she tries to help, things usually end up bloody and on fire. While she's generally well meaning, she's sarcastic and sociable which isn't always a good combination, and she's been known to be a right asshole. So. If you'd like to be sassed, she's more than likely to oblige. She's also known to have an occasional flirt with friendly people. A great way to bond and build camaraderie, right?

Also she's a mage. Magic's a rather fraught political issue back home, so seeing so much of it around her with so little fuss will be intriguing--especially if there are sane mages! Learning about different kinds of magic would be of great interest to her provided there's no demons or blood sacrifice.

I'm not sure what my schedule is going to be like for the next two weeks exactly but I'm always up for a chat if I'm around! Hello, it's a pleasure, Lena! It's a pretty popular franchise (not as much as ME but still!!), and for some reason Hawke is a pretty popular character, so I'm not surprised! I love Olivia and am a super huge FE fan so I'm glad to see her around! Give me all the shy tiny dancers.

but no don't admire her, Hawke really admires elegance, that's something she's like, never had much to the bewilderment of her mother. or maybe not elegance, per se, but social graces? the quiet ability to soothe people by just talking to them. please teach her this because helping them other ways is not always helpful.

fmaslkdja olivia doesnt think she's in any position to teach anyone about anything regarding social situations but.. she... will try....!?

Welcome to the game! I'm Gore, and I play Steven Universe here. I'm only familiar with Dragon Age things through RP, still it looks like it will be fun to have Marian Hawke around. I hope you have a great time here!

Steven seems like a really upstanding character and we always needs more of those. I have seen a few SU characters in RP but tbh I am just getting back into this hobby so I haven't had the chance to play with any yet.

Hello and thank you! I am sorry for that though omg. You know I've been in RP on and off for about ten years now, but I have only recently gotten into DA, so if that helps a little...! I am not that far behind the curve I tell myself and, lmao, even still playing Hawke makes me feel my age because of how much time passes in his/her game. Here I am playing a character who would have seemed ancient agewise to me like even five years ago.

I'm sure Hawke will feel right at home once she hangs around with the Chantes citizens - it's just like home, except the templars are played by the humans (wow magic is pretty evil right guys?), the tower mages are played by the goblins (what magic? no evil magic here please leave us alone), and Anders is played by the order (I'M SO ANGRY ABOUT OPPRESSION I'M GOING TO BLOW UP THE SUN!!!).

You're probably wise to do so, as I'm one of the people who plays it the least amongst my friends and yet I have wasted so much time, haha. I play Nico specifically from the anime but that could easily be a gateway drug to the game.

Ah, alas, anime also a tendency to suck me in so I have been avoiding it for a few months. x( If I see it on Netflix I might add it to my queue though since there's been a lot of anime on it recently; and the subbing is good so why not....
