WELCOME POST Welcome, everyone, to Season 2 of Futurology! While we aren't officially opening our doors until the 15th of January, we'd still like you all to have time to get to chat and get to know each other, both new and old players. So here it is: our welcome post! Think of this like a group OOC intro post -- feel free to introduce yourself and your characters here, and say hello to everyone else. Don't worry about being "late"; this post lasts for as long as acceptances continue to go out. We'd like to take this moment to remind new players to get to know the game and familiarize themselves with the rules, FAQ, and welcome page. We'd also like them to make sure they've joined all the communities (axiology, epidemiology, futurology, typology, and thirstology) and created an IC file in typology if they want to! Finally, as a reminder, Futurology operates in UTC. Please keep this in mind when managing deadlines. For those who are interested in plotting a little more in-depth, don't worry! The dossier with all the info will be out on the 10th, plus a CR Meme. For now, just sit back, relax, and have fun! We're so excited to have all our returning players back, and to meet our new players for the first time.

HI AGAIN FUTURO, i'm jay, this is lucina from fire emblem: awakening!! the tl;dr is that she's a princess from a world that was about to be smashed into tiny little pieces thanks to a giant, evil dragon, but she stops that thanks to the power of friendship ( and time travel, and also her dad ). she's coming straight from s1 and will continue to gently try and befriend the entire team, because that's what she does. oh yeah she's gonna be a sentinel and then throw herself at people to protect them because, again, that's what she does.

HEYOOO it is kitty/katy, back from s1 with the same nerd everyone loves to hate. hates to love? for me, its the 2nd one. for those 3 of you i didnt harass or those new faces coming in, i bring you peter parker from the amazing spider-man. he's a returning vet and sort of used to the world hopping but getting used to hathaway. he's an inventor but still has spider-powers if you need backup, likes skateboarding and photography, is easy to befriend and still feels bad about that time he was eating people, and has these big gross emotions for stiles stilinski.

her name is arya (though she says her name is zokla), she's 11-years-old, (claiming to be 13 soon to be 14), from westeros (but if asked the only place name she'll give you is braavos which is all the way across the sea) and she has a direwolf named nymeria (…this part is true.)

yes, she's a liar and she happens to be a damn good one and she will be lying to everyone because it's what she does. her specialization is sentinel and she will be at your character's side to encourage them to stop being stupid and don't die, idiot and pour boiling wine in their wounds to prevent infection and possibly inflict heart attacks via sudden giant wolf. you're welcome.

Jin's a Shaolin monk and sharpshooting archer and, along with other kids/relatives of older MK characters, helped beat the shit out of an ex-elder god who tried to fuck up the multiverse in his home world! he comes straight from s1 where he helped Audentes do the same with some other dude, and where he became everybody's annoying big bro friend and learned to be less of a hasty, rude, know-it-all jerk. keyword less. he's a negotiator and i look forward to him literally hurting people with his sick burns.

hi i'm theresa and i'm playing fiona from borderlands. she is a former (kind of) con artist, though she prefers to call herself a Vault Hunter, which is essentially a super-specialized and super-deadly treasure hunter in the borderlands universe. unless there is con artistry involved, then she will toot her own horn from the highest mountain.

fiona is kind of a control freak and prone to manipulating people, though she is chill if everything is going to keikaku and likes to joke around. and shit-talk people. she loooves to shit-talk. she was here in S1 for like a year and a half-ish, so this universe-hopping biz is old hat to her. Hello friends!! Missed you Futuro!! :***** This is Veronica back with the lying green menace, Loki from Marvel Comics (Agent of Asgard flavor). The low down is that Loki is pretty much the god of mischief, lies & chaos trying to reform his story from the wicked Marvel villain to some kind of charming anti-hero. While he may not be out for the full-villain schtick, he's still a sneaky good for nothing. He's hung out with the Young Avengers, and taken a roadtrip across the multiverse before his time with ALASTAIR and Hathaway. He pretty much doesn't want to go home yet (still in exile, whoops), because screw Asgard rn. He's very personable, charming and a pretentious viking hipster. He's either 5,000 or 21, no one knows. Hey, y'all, it's Rizu bringing back your resident tiny doctor witch with thirst levels and curiosity over nine thousand Sieglinde Sullivan from Kuroshitsuji and tightly wound centaur warrior who is taller than you and hates space Hayame from Jinba. Sieglinde is starting out in the Sentinel specialization (and will eventually go Sentinel/Inventor) and Hayame is a Bruiser. Despite both these ladies being from non-modern times, one is very excited for new things yet bittersweet about ALASTAIR to be here, and one really, really wishes their headquarters was on the gd ground and that things made any bit of sense, I'll let you guess which is which.

I'm sure nobody has ever heard of this character, so to sum him up: Clark is a sweet-tempered, agreeable guy from the American Midwest who also happens to be an alien with godlike abilities. Hello, everybody!! Silvie here and I'm bringing back Pannacotta Fugo from JoJo's Bizarre Adventures. Fugo is a grumpy teenage mafioso who tried to sidestep adventure in Part 5: Vento Aureo, only to get yanked by the collar back into the thick of it in Purple Haze Feedback. Quick rundown is he's a serial killer turned assassin from a magic world, who's obsessed with art and making death beautiful. lissa is, thankfully, 15 and a princess of her nation, even if she doesn't act like a princess at all. despite being a healer in the fe games, she's been assigned the role of bruiser for the duration of her time with hathaway. someone please teach her how to punch a person without breaking her wrist. her ic file is here but the most important fact that you need to know about her is that she's lucina's aunt. despite being some 7-8 years younger.
