This has been an incredibly difficult decision to make, but I will be dropping Achilles from the game. After a year of adventure and development, it is time for him to go back to Troy and meet his fate. I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who has tagged with him during my time here. I tried Achilles out on a whim, and I hadn't the faintest inkling that he would be so well received, nor that I would be able to accomplish so much with him. This has truly been a rewarding roleplay experience!

Thanks to our magnanimous mods, I do have a grace period of about three weeks in which to wrap up Achilles' story. I'll keep going with current threads and plans I made, and before the new mission starts I'll hit inboxes for farewell threads. ICly, Achilles will depart as the rest of Audentes is sent to Leramzen in two weeks. (It's for the best that I won't be able to participate...I'd never be able to spell that without looking it up...)

Fear not, for you are not rid of me just yet. I do have an app for a new character ready to go, so hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back to harass you all once more.

kath i am going to miss achilles!!! as mentioned, as i'm sure you know, but it bears repeating! he always felt like a super solid character, and our mascot of a dude out of his time and place on the team — plus good GOD your dedication to homeric tags, i swear to god you are an energizer bunny of good writing.

thank you for apping him, i'm so glad you did! it's been a super fun time, and i loved all of our threads <3 and i look forward to having your next guy around, too!

Zee...I'll never forget that you were the first person to tag me on the TDM, when I was so sure that no one would bite except my friends out of obligation. I really value the friendship that Achilles and Ramir have managed to build, from wrestling on the beach in the middle of a hurricane to crying on her shoulder and giving Christmas gifts. She has been a big influence on him this whole time!
