Hi, I'm Sam, and I needed a ninja to counterbalance my samurai.

So: I bring you Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; specifically, he's from the current comics run by IDW, which may be a little different from the cartoons of your youth (depending on when your youth was) but is an A++ ride and shit's gotten so real recently and just take this helpful diagram and consider reading it.

Leo himself isn't that different than most adaptations of this series, though: he's the responsible guy who makes plans, adheres to ~duty~, and gives his brothers frowny faces for not working with the plan and fulfilling their duty. Also a big nerd re: martial arts, loves training training training!!!, and does not understand RP but oh my god, does he try.

comics life is hard, which usually keeps me from living it, haha. My only consolation here is that TMNT is thankfully pretty self-contained; every now and then I read a Marvel title or two but I can't even try to keep up with the universe as a whole.

Part of me wants to be like PLEASE PLAY THE OTHER FIRE EMBLEMS but tbh my favorite ones are the ones I feel like an asshole trying to rec, sob. where's my Thracia 776 remake with adjustable difficulty level, Nintendo.....

oh man that's the best though... i only dipped a toe into comicsland to get my hands on fraction's hawkeye (which i highly recommend, i personally just like to think it's in its own little nook in that universe) but everything else my eyes just cross...

I've been hearing good things about Hawkguy for ages. Maybe someday...my to-read/play/watch/etc list is so embarrassing at this point.

oh man i hear you... where is all the time (and money) to be able to put even a dent on my own list, sigh.

BUT HAWKGUY IS SO GOOD UGH. i could geek out about it but it'll be gross so i'll just. quietly tell you it's so good............
