player plot: storm the castle

Hey, worldhoppers.

Kida's getting pretty fed up with this whole sitting-around-waiting-for-answers situation, so in light of recent events she's heading right for the top of the food chain: Odette's king. Dream big, right?

Of course, she can't do it alone. She'll call upon her CR, but from an ooc perspective, this could be a great opportunity for everyone to snoop! Luckily for me, Kida's not the lone ranger type, and she'll be calling for some action from all her fellow ALASTAIR agents.

While Kida and Riza meet with the king, there are plenty of opportunities for characters to use their skills! We'll need infiltrators to get into the place: teleporters, portal-makers, magic users, rogue classes, people who happen to own invisibility cloaks (you know who you are), etc, go crazy. We'll also need a distraction to keep the guards busy: if you're handy with a weapon, have fun, try not to kill anyone points at eyes points at onyx and gilgamesh.

Since this weekend is the Halloween event, we'd be looking at an early November date for the castle break-in, probably around the 7th depending on the calendar. This plot is on a volunteer basis, IC and OOC, and there's obviously no penalty for sitting things out. If you'd like to participate, put your name in the sign-ups thread and I'll add you! You can also use this post to plot and ask questions.

Admittedly, I didn't have any particulars in mind, but I have to think there's a creative way to disable a bunch of poor saps. I'm sure Thor is stronger, though they've both got a strength advantage enough to toss some guards back and forth and make good use of their environmental weapons. In the sense of making distractions though, my thought is to make sure all the participants are covering a good amount of ground.
