hi, futurology! amm here. iiii am brand new to the game, but definitely not to the rp scene so some of you may recognize me. even if you don't--well, it's nice to meet you!

i'm bringing in max caulfield from life is strange this round. she's a bit awkward and may fumble through first meetings & impressions, but she's pretty kind and caring and she goes out of her way to help people. she is an aspiring photographer originally from oregon (circa 2013) who loves to take pictures of anything and everything with her polaroid. her specialty is selfies.

she's also a bit of a geek who loves sci-fi, anime, and manga, and books so if you're not into the fourth-wall breaking thing and you think this may apply to you, please take a look over here.

oh, yeah. also, she can rewind time! whoops. not that she'll be eager to do it anytime soon, but it's a thing.

Max! I've been curious about LiS forever and now boyfriend and I have a PS4 I might look into actually getting it at some point.

By which I mean, hi and welcome, Amm. I'm Caprica and I just have this here resident Magical Girl, Sakura Kinomoto of CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura manga series. idk if that might apply with Max's fourth walling, or how familiar you are with it, but yes. If you are, Sakura's taken from the start of her Final Judgement with Yue. Though I'm waffling on eventually updating her at some point later on.

ccs (or rather, its awful dub counterpart, cardcaptors) is a dear part of my childhood. i'm familiar, though i'm unsure if max would be if i'm honest. i'll have to think on it a little more! i look forward to playing with her though - what a cutie :D

Ha, it's okay, the dub for CCS and Sailor Moon were my introductions of sorts to anime in general, else I wouldn't have discovered the manga at all. And yes, I'm sure I will! Not as sure if it is a game he's as curious and interested in but we shall see.

I just figured I'd ask since you did mention her being familiar with some anime/manga is all. I wasn't sure if there were any specifics she might mention in canon.

there are some mentioned specifically! sadly others i just kind of have to wing it/discern for myself. pokemon, mario, zelda for example i think i can safely assume she's at least heard of (and even sailor moon), but ccs isn't quite as obvious.

to be honest, when in doubt i'll probably lean towards preserving the fourth wall. it's a lot easier that way, and less awkward.

It isn't quiiiite on the same league, even if it is one of the other popular magical girl series. Sailor Moon is definitely on another level in comparison, so I could understand that. But that's not a bad thing to lean to that, more fun with cr when Max does slowly uncover things through time and trust developing. I'd prob go more that route myself with such a character.
