I’m cool with either. I’m easy. I guess it depends on whether or not you think it’s worth writing out them meeting so she can properly judge just how clueless this boy is and possibly be a bit confused by how blasé he is about her appearance. (On a 1-10 scale of weird beings he’s seen she’s like a 2, at most.)

she will be so shocked at his clueless self... and appreciative of the blasé FINALLY she's normal... sort of. Maybe let's start with the meeting and she can get a grasp of what role he wants to work with on the way to the shop???

I can reply with him walking up to meet her then and they can go from there and it will definitely not be a disaster at all and he definitely won’t be embarrassing ’cause it’s definitely not like he’s still wearing that one bright yellow jacket or anything...
