RE: ACTIVITY

Hi, Futurology! We have some minor tweaks and reminders about the AC system to address. Starting with February AC, the following will be in effect:

1. Due to the overwhelming demand to be in game, we will now only allow strikes on an as-needed basis. This means you are no longer allowed to submit a strike for AC without first discussing it with the mods. If you feel yourself unable to complete AC for the month, please send us a PM before the end of the AC period. Should extenuating circumstances occur with regularity, we urge you to reconsider whether you have the time to dedicate to Futurology at this moment. As before, no strikes can be taken before or after a hiatus, nor back-to-back.

2. Hiatuses must be made by the 15th to count for that month's AC. For example, if you wish to hiatus in February and be exempt for February AC, you must submit your hiatus before February 15th, 23:59 UTC, no exceptions. If you find yourself unable to tag for whatever reason, please submit your hiatus as soon as you can!

3. Futurology runs on UTC. Therefore, all comments going towards AC must be made before the end of the month in UTC and the AC form must be submitted before the end of the 5th UTC, no exceptions. We suggest making sure you have AC before the 30th and submitting the AC form before the 5th if at all possible to avoid this problem. If you were unable to tag before the end of the month due to extenuating circumstances, please PM us to request a strike. If you will be unable to submit the AC form by the deadline but have sufficient activity, let us know before the 1st of the month and we'll work with you!
