hi

Hi everyone, it's Theresa! You may also know me as the player of Hellboy ([personal profile] hellshaped). Don't worry, he's still here, I just apped a second character because, I don't know, I have poor impulse control.

This is Rick Sanchez from Rick & Morty, whom you may also know from such hits as killing award-winning cartoon characters on their own show or weird burger commercial.

Basically Rick is an 80-year-old mad scientist/inventor/genius who has traveled roughly everywhere in the galaxy, including alternate dimensions/timelines, and has a largely obfuscated background as a freedom fighter/space terrorist. Also he is an alcoholic. And a grandfather. And in constant psychological pain.

Short version: amoral octogenarian asshole who is surprised by nothing because he's seen everything.

NOTE: Some of Rick's tendencies can be potentially triggering, so please look over this content warning/opt-out post and let me know if anything doesn't work for you.

I'm over at [plurk.com profile] bloodmoney if you want to chat; just drop me a line here (or on plurk, w/e) that you're adding me and we're golden!

Hello, Theresa! My name is Lofn, and it's a pleasure! I really enjoyed our thread on the testdrive! I was totally canonblind so I was expecting something like The Professor from Futurama but lmao he's like 1000x better. Also I had no idea what a backronym was so I even learnt something.

Not a problem! I totally understand as my schedule has been uneven as of late. Luckily my work is done for the year but it has some crazy hours lmao. And please, let's do! Even if it ends horrendously Hawke will still bother him because she'll feel rather poorly for making such a bad impression on someone she's supposed to work with. She does have some active rivalries though, so she's used to working (not always nicely) with people she has Fundamental Differences with.

Oh, then yes, that does make sense! Futurama is fundamentally a positive show for as heart-wrenching as it can be but it is a very good thing to be inspired by.
