(she's 100% smarter than your average Peridot)

GOOD EVENING, AUDENTES.

I'm Chris. You may know me as Urahara "I Make Manipulation Look Fun" Kisuke, but now you can know me as another nerd associated with the color green.

This is Peridot from Steven Universe. She's four feet tall, loud, shrill, thinks she's the greatest thing since Era One quartzes, can manipulate metal with her brain, a certified kindergartner (both relevant to her maturity AND her actual job description), and is here to tell you how wonderful she is, even if she has to scream it at you.

She's also a gem. Specifically a Peridot. I mean... shocker right. More importantly, she's a Crystal Gem, a rebel against her Homeworld who has recently decided she loves Earth and wants to protect it and live in a hipster art barn in the country with her hot roommate. Unfortunately, this game has other plans for her, so she GUESSES she'll protect all these other worlds, if it gets her back to Earth faster.

She's coming in from 4x01: The Kindergarten Kid. Out of one set of wacky hi-jinks and into another... set... Yep.

ALSO. I'm aware there was another Peridot here awhile back, so let me go on the record to say that I am sorry to everyone she may have victimized or tormented or was generally obnoxious to in the past that is still with us, but... as a reformed gem, she's going to refuse to acknowledge or accept your pain, and will be annoyed if you continue to be mad at her about it. UGH. SHE'S DIFFERENT NOW. AND HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WASN'T A DIFFERENT PERIDOT. SHE HAS NO RECOLLECTION OF ANY OF THIS.
