I apologize for the late intro SWEATS but I figured I should, since the series he's from is big on fourthwall breaking. Because of this, please fill out his permissions if you can! I'm already tagging around a little bit, but I want to make sure I'm not bringing any content that's uncomfortable for people to work with.

MOVING ON! Hijikata is a responsible police man who will absolutely try to help people, just in the most tsundere manly, dismissive way possible. He's a chain smoker with a pure love for mayonnaise who is awkward around women and easy to rib, so while he does have a 'cool, capable' side, he's equally often seen being a complete embarrassment blblblbl

Yes, they certainly would! He's already been befriending and volunteering to work under Tsukuyo. And haha no need to apologize, I just mean that I've been slow in working my way through canon and haven't even reached the 200th chapter yet. BUT I THINK I GOT THE BASICS OF HIJIKATA

I'm Caitie and I have Law here from One Piece, which I understand has been directly referenced in Gintama because Gintoki somehow reads the actual magazine his own series is published in.

He's not super into this whole mission thing rn but as soon as something happens and everyone needs to be coordinated and...they're not HE WILL CHANGE HIS TUNE and start actually doing his job(?) - so that'd be a good impetus for him joining something like that.

YES GOOD - I've gotta get him settled before I can figure out just how 'law-abiding' he expects people to be/cares to try and enforce, but I'm sure he'd at least try to stamp out gintoki bullshit.

Sounds great for application on a mission, though - so if his popo spirit (read: bossy attitude) hasn't caught up with him by then, I'm sure it will when they get shipped off haha

These all sound like good pass-times, Hijikata's keeping busy. After the festivities how will he spend his time?

I'm still thinking on what to do with a log but high chances of haunting the library and training for sure. At some point he'll want to cook for people because he misses it, too.
