+1 Thankful new recruit

Hi everyone! I'm Dilly and I'm brand new here. I've been ogling this game for so long while in the application queue that I'm eager to leap in! I'm on plurk as squigglebat and I operate on UK time when I'm not nightowling like crazy.

I'm bringing in an original character, Serene Charlord, a former kidnapped brat, failed magician, willing child soldier and now a rescued noblewoman unwilling to play the helpless victim of her circumstances. She's gregarious, competitive, built like a brick shithouse and has a chip on her shoulder about being perceived s inadequate for her role. She's one of the recruits actually grateful to be here as her current life has been a series of failures and rejections. Here's her app for more information.

Her username is the very creative serene and her inbox is located here. Forgive me, her journal is meant to contain all of her world information but is currently full of half finished pieces as I was procrastinating with that extra week I'm so glad I didn't have to wait.

Edited to add the most important cultural clash I'd forgotten to mention: dietary restrictions. She's from a world with multiple sentient species and the humen are part of the Omnivore political alliance, who look on eating anything with a beating heart and breathing lungs as akin to cannibalism. For her, worms prepared properly can be haute cuisine but meat is for Carnivore sickos and milk products sound more like a creepy fetish than food. She's going to have her world rocked in the worst way by all you meat eaters here.

Thank you! Your character looks very interesting too. Now here's good motivation to sit down this afternoon and actually write up what's in my head about necromancy that formerly existed in her world. She'll be very surprised he's actually able to form long term memories once she finds out what he is, since a brain preserved by necromancy in her world would be a le to respond and interact based on what it new when alive, but be unable to form new neural pathways the way living cells could.

omg those dietary restrictions sound lovely :') i'm zee, and i've got ramir here who would absolutely love to rub in how bizarre and horrible she is for loving rare steak for serene as often as possible. i think they'll get along swimmingly! i've also got ashraf/healplz who is a priest and... much more pleasant, tbh.
