HEY THERE FUTURO. my name is astrid and i'm a one hundred percent newbie around these parts, but i've had my eye on this game for quite a bit, so i'm excited to be here!

i'm bringing in takenaka hanbei from sengoku basara– a hailed strategist who serves as the right hand man to toyotomi hideyoshi, a man who has literally punched the ocean away. in case you haven't been subject to basaras ridiculousness already. by contrast, hanbei is the condescending, self-righteous, enigmatic sort of villain who happens to be pretty sickly! getting him into the teamwork rhythm might take a bit.

his inbox for the game is over this way, and there's some lengthy info about him over here. for those canon familiar, i'm taking him from the beginning of his SB4 routes.

OH YEAH HE WAS I somehow entirely forgot. He can definitely relate to Hanbei's attitude of staring stoically into the face of death.

But yes, I've played characters with various ailments before, it's more fun to keep them even if it's cureable in the game setting, so I totally understand :)!

actually speaking of what HAS hanbei done from kojuro's POV... since hanbei is pre-sb4 routes he'll be reasonably confused because hasn't done anything to him or masamune.... yet

Kojuro is mostly anime-compliant for all three seasons, but with extra stuff chucked in from the games where it works and/or makes more sense. Basically trying to deal with the mess that is game canon gave me a headache (and I haven't finished SB2 or HEROES yet)

haha, yes. wrangling down timelines is ... basically a requirement of this series. i can't imagine what it's like for characters like kojuro who have had some sort of presence in everything one way or another.

hanbei will NOT... remember kidnapping kojuro lol but he wouldn't put it past himself either. SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA.

Thankfully most of his stuff isn't super-major plot things (that's all on Masamune) but yeaaaaah. Even Capcom seems to have given up keeping track of what they've decided is canon, tbh.

SIMILARLY, my Undertale knowledge is secondhand and I never quite got to the end of Homestuck but I do know both Aradia and Undyne are great. I can't wait to interact with them!

antagonism is fun! it is the spice of rp life. olivia is basically a bootleg disney at this point, so she'd definitely be interesting to see against hanbei...! badou would probably just @god why me his life again if/when he meets hanbei...
