CALENDAR MAY 1ST ★ Activity check for April begins. APRIL ACTIVITY CHECK ENDS ON MAY 5, 11:59 PM GMT. ALSO MAY 1ST ★ GILLIGAN'S ISLAND. The volcanic eruption may subside, but that doesn't mean the disasters are over yet. An unusually vicious, persisting typhoon strikes, dividing the team at its most vulnerable. One group will find themselves stranded on a strange, waterlogged island, handling some grisly discoveries from the past, as well as finding a way back to drier land. The rest may want to rescue their comrades, but will have to deal with the increasingly desperate Nalawi first. A mass log will go up for the stranded team, and an OOC info post with further clarifications will be posted to explain circumstances for everyone. The network will remain available for people within each group, but the storm will disrupt communications between the two separate groups. AC Plot Slots will be available, and the OOC:IC time ratio will be 2:1. MAY 8th ★ CR MEME. Make some new friends! MAY 15th ★ A MESSAGE FROM ALASTAIR. Once reunited, a new face from ALASTAIR helps shed some light on the situation. But no news is good news. An OOC info post will be posted, but there will be no event log. Peter here is not magical, his abilities are through genetic modification. so am i right in assuming the current removal/dampening wouldn't affect him?

Regarding the network failure between two groups!

If a character were to send messages to someone's personal inbox, would they just be lost in the ether or would they eventually come through once the two groups are reunited again like gmail notifs? Mabel's gonna be panic spamming Dipper every day because....twin....8(

Hello! The island group will not be able to contact the NPCs, but the others certainly will.

Hi! How would the divide between the groups affect a Master/Servant bond, like between Rin and Archer? Would they be able to communicate mentally, tell that each other are vaguely still alive, or nothing at all?

Due to the persisting weakness of magical abilities in Nalawi, they won't be able to communicate. At most, they would be able to confirm that the other person is alive.

Would Koltira's magic mirror have any power left in it, or is it now completely inert?

It'll be less effective than before, but we'll leave it up to player discretion as to whether magical items are inert or just considerably nerfed.

So, what reactions did the Nalawi have to the forced detonation of the volcano?

If someone were to check up on local opinions/council discussions, would they yield anything handy or relevant?
