Hello Futurologists!
I'm Koree, and I'm brand-spanking-new to the game. I'm bringing in Wonder Girl/Cassie Sandsmark from her first animated debut, Young Justice:The Neverending Quest for Closure Feels Invasion. For anyone who didn't watch the show both seasons are up on Netflix for the curious so what are you waiting for?? YJ is a series about DC's beloved sidekicks (don't call them sidekicks!!!!!!!) and young heroes doing cool covert ninja stuff, while frequently failing spectacularly at the ninja part. This girl in particular isn't really great on stealth...
She's being brought in from the end of "Intervention" so there are some Things she remains unaware of, for maximum playability. You can read up about her on her application here, it'll be unlocked shortly, but for a quick rundown: Cassie is an extremely eager, friendly young hero (15) who excels at punching the shit out of things. She's the demigod daughter of Zeus and famous archeologist, Helena Sandsmark. That means she's gotten some spiffy powers from dad, like superhuman reflexes, durability, strength (which will be a tiny bit tweaked to avoid breaking the game), and the power of flight (also tweaked to avoid game breaking). She also comes fully equipped with training from Wonder Woman, bullet/laser deflecting bracelets, an unusually durable golden lasso, and a few boat loads of determination. I'll be looking for all types of CR for her here in game, positive to negative.

i'm not very good at doing my characters justice
but! i've only ever actually played fe:a, but it's definitely a fun game! i'm not much of a vidya in the first place, but i was able to do okay!

HELLO...!!! welcome to futuro I'm ambi I play your not quite a castmate here. who will not be quite as excited as I am to see cassie around but who cares what he thinks.
cross continuity stuff is always fun, let me know if you need/want to work anything out on that front! iirc he ought to at least be aware of cassie's wonder girl as one of the teen titans working with tim and will probably avoid like the plague at first if he can, because he's still supposed to be officially six feet under back home. but it's a small crew, that's not going to last forever. I know Jason at least existed in YJ (!!! amazing) but details are thin on the ground (?) so whatever discretion you use on that front one way or another is aok with me.

But yeah, if you could just let me know where you are with the series (have you or will you read the side comic?), what your stance is on spoilers (if any), I can absolutely work with you and I'm looking forward to exploring things with them. Sorry for rambling, I'm just equally stoked! :)

I AM.....about 6 episodes from being done I think. (I just finished "runaways") so not too far off. I'm already spoiled as far as the Major Character Death that happens at the end but spoilers don't really bother me in general so this is more of a "here is the point where I resort to confused looks and nodding" than a "don't ever mention anything that happens after this point," you don't have to be super careful or anything while I finish up. I didn't even know there were side comics, though, I'll have to look into them. (!!!)
but yes!!! picks up DCs and holds them close. I was mostly resigned to lcwing so I'm excited for a chance for some continuity clash, I'll keep a lookout for cassie on the comms

Oh man that was one of my favorite episodes, straight up. And yes! The side comics follow along from the events of season 1 all the way through the start of (ETA: Whoops) season 2, including the stuff that went down during the 5 year time skip. Normally I don't find myself reading side material much but this is definitely a recommended reading thing. It sheds some extra light on things in lieu of S2's cast size + pacing (which is admittedly rather large and rather fast, given the former). Not like, a boat load? But I think they did a nice job of making it a true TIE IN and not just bonus material. I think you'll enjoy the read!

I'm like 99% Warcraft canonblind but I've played with some folks that play from the game on and off over the years (things that make me feel old: selling clearance bins of WoW Expansions at one of my first jobs back in the OTT'S wow 8|). I'm Dray and I'm playing Lessa from Dragonriders of Pern; she's also wreckless, but aside from some psionic Force-like hijinx she's pretty mundane. I think she'd be pretty awe inspired to see Cassie in action. Woot!
