Harper blow and Holder gawp, Dragon wings be hot to trawt

I heard you were a timeline-fixing game so I brought you a timeline fixing matron to fix your timelines.
For the uninitiated, Lessa from the 70's-aged (and not well-aged, mind you) series of Dragonriders of Pern is a bad-ass dragonriding power-mom who decided to wager her own life (and the fate of her world) to do some back-to-the-future sight-seeing when she had an early mid-life crisis over whether or not she wanted to be a queen of just one Hold or a queen to pretty much the entire planet (with a bonus gold bling personal living jet.) She's tiny, standing probably around just five feet tall, but she's got psychic sensitivity and uses it to appear much bigger than life. She catches on to trains of thought quickly and when she smiles or talks sweetly you know she's about to open a can of verbal whoop-ass.
But hey she gets things done, so that's a plus, right?
If nothing else, she comes with a very sullen golden dragon named Ramoth on her heels. This regal queen of a dragon, an egg-layer and self-aggrandized repopulater of all the Weyrs of Pern, indomitable and bigger than any known living creature... has been shrunk down to about the size of a large dog, and will not be popping out eggs to furnish Oska with coal-munching heathens. She isn't pleased about it, and you can probably tell by the bulging red-flickering lights of her weird lobster-alien eyes. Pern dragons, amirite?
My name is Dray and I'd absolutely love to dive right in with you all! My plurk is

I'm incredibly disappointed you haven't drawn Ramoth with the canonical mouth, pictured above, what were you thinking

Lessa's canon is a far-flung future where colonists settled another planet, Pern, but their technology degraded over the course of several millennia to something like the dark ages. Dragons were bred from native tiny fire-breathing winged lizards to combat the fall of Threads, which are essentially mindless spores that fall into the atmosphere and gorge on any living biomatter they touch. Weird cultures grew around the tradition of flaming Threads from the sky, and Lessa's people became notorious for being sort of like... well respected dragon-riding paladins or samurai, I suppose.
The world is very corrupt, and the real-world time period that the book series comes from really says a lot for its kinds of corruption inherent to it (sexism, classism, slavery, stereotyping gender issues), but Lessa was among some of the first lady heroes in fantasy and sci-fi that actively struggled against some of those things.
In any case, thanks for stopping by to say hello! I've bumped up against a few Fate-folk in other games and your canon is a fascinating lot. What is Olivia like? She looks completely adorable!

fire emblem: awakening, sadly, is not nearly as deep as lessa's canon! olivia herself is a mere peasant girl who was originally from a traveling theater troupe. however some time ago, a man of import had attempted to kidnap her so he could keep her for himself/marry her. THANKFULLY, the khan of a nearby region intercepted that and saved her! now she remains with him and repays her debt by dancing for him and his soldiers lksjdal in-game mechanics has her dancing 'rejuvenating' the players, which essentially allows them a second turn. but icly they just refer to her dancing/singing as a morale booster! despite her profession and showy attire, she's actually very meek and thinks very little of herself.

That's a very fairy-tale sort of story for Olivia... and she still sounds cute af. Where Lessa comes from, singers and dancers are called Harpers as a tradespeople, and beyond entertainment they're the main teachers of oral history and traditions so I think Lessa could get behind Olivia's particular skill-set. :D

Also what happened to having cats and dogs for pets. What's wrong with a nice, tiny-toothed cat.

Ramoth will have you know that she is no flit to be trained to sit and beg! ...She will, however, tolerate scritches over the eyebrow ridge, especially if it boils Lessa's biscuits that someone she's at odds with is treating her with such reverence.
I see you on plurk! Awww yeah!

f/former boss, because he sacrificed her and she's s a l t y. She's grown up on army bases, so she's theoretically fine with having people be in command over here, as long as their orders aren't dumb (in which case she'll point it out) and they have a thick skin (because not a teasing comment has been thought and not said out loud). She's a wicked enforcer, so if they can work something out, it could go really well!... But she's also headstrong and distrustful and temperamental, so................. We...'ll see them growl at each other first. Or forever. Who knows.
BUT HEY Ramoth at least is already in highest regards because god what doesn't look fantastic in gold? Who's a gorgeous creature from the flaming mouth of hell? Yes, yes you are.

It's true, Helga, if you want to be on top of the world, there's nothing better than a massive gold dragon who trusts you completely and who you can depend on 4 lyfe! Got problems with treachery? Dragons are just the cure!
I'm starting to think that they'll work out pretty well!

Can she have like five dragons. All of Helga's problems in life could be solved by dragons.

:D Maybe one day they'll all stumble over a world rife with mini-dragons that Helga can stock up on
to sell to the highest bidderto solve all of her problems~no subject
