EVENT FOLLOW UP Hello everyone! We’ve received some interest on the outcome of this current event, so here is a proposal for you all. We know December can be a tough month for heavy plotting, so we’d appreciate if everyone read through this and filled out the poll at the end so we can gauge interest. For players interested in consequences for the current event, this is an optional outcome for those that are successfully detained during the Order of the Chimera meeting. In order to keep this opportunity open to everyone interested, this isn’t restricted to characters that received invitations. Guests, unfortunate wanderers, and people in the wrong place at the wrong time can be caught and arrested as well. The law enforcement won’t listen to any claims at innocence, so enjoy your new prison garb. JAIL LIFE Those who are finding themselves in Odette’s jail for the second time will notice a distinctly different experience. For one, this isn’t just an overnight stay. Characters are to be held indefinitely as traitors to the crown, as well as routinely taken out and questioned. They’ll also find themselves unable to use their powers. There’s gossip around the jail from the Order members that they’ve been sold out by a traitor, one of their most powerful sorcerers, who has created a barrier to dampen their magic. The only piece of magic that still works inside the cell is their enchanted jewelry, which must be used discreetly lest it be confiscated. Otherwise, characters have no contact with the outside world besides the occasional visitor, whose conversations with them will be closely monitored for anything incriminating. Characters will be held for about two weeks before the jailbreak occurs. THE JAILBREAK Though the barrier can’t be taken down for some time, on the 5th of December, Arthur Roche (the quiet man present at the Order meeting and skulking about town before) will offer his assistance in a jailbreak. Appeals to ALASTAIR in the meantime will go unheard. This is all on the PCs and native NPCs. Luckily, there will be some new arrivals to replace characters who have been transferred to other missions, who will immediately be informed of the jailbreak by word of mouth and encouraged to help. LASTING CONSEQUENCES » Besides being jailed, characters will be considered fugitives after their escape. This means they’ll need to lay low in human areas until their names are cleared or until this world plot concludes. » Due to their greater acceptance of magic, fugitives will still be welcome in goblin territory. However, they may need to work to gain their full trust as well -- the goblins haven’t forgotten the Order’s demonstration in the main square. » This also means characters may need to depend more on the Order for resources. hopefully posting this here is cool by the mods (if not just lmk), but there was some talk on plurk about gauging interest in a jailbreak team for those who aren't planning on having their characters arrested.

so this thread is for just that! feel free to add any additional ideas you/your character may have.

I was actually looking to have Alice join in and aid efforts to help rescue people, since uh, 10 years in a mental asylum already was bad enough. But yes, if there's any sort of secret meetings and plannings leading up to it, yes, good.

Totally interested in jailbreak stuff!!

Since it'll also be the first big thing the new round of applicants are involved in, maybe some sort of squad system? I'm sure plenty of people will have their own ideas of what to do, but any new blood could then get hooked up with a senpai existing character for some CR? Not sure how to work it out if there's no IC warning, but I'm just throwin' ideas out here.

hey, that's a great idea! i was hoping to somehow get the newbies integrated into it when they come along, and this hits the nail on the head.

i'm not 100% sure yet about how the IC meeting should be set up, but i'm thinking i can plan to make a network post for gathering purposes if need be - and putting everyone into temporary squads is def viable for levi.

Pearl will be all over this, seeing as some of her close CR has signed up to being jailed. But in general, she'd be gung-ho about saving everyone from execution. She'll rush in with swords drawn.

Before all that though, Pearl will be an absolute mess, worrying about those of whom were captured. Plus she was one of the invited few to the Chimera gathering. So she may need some emotional support. Other than that, I'm up for any kind of interactions!!! And she will totally join in with any secret meetings that will arise.

hello, I am new, but I wanted to express interest in being here since the dumb girlfriend Clarke Griffin is imprisoned and that's not cool!

Bellamy's infiltrated (what is essentially) a military base inside of a mountain back home (and just got back from it) so he's used to sneaking around, killing people, wearing their uniforms, pretending to be one of them ... he's more likely to want to separate himself to find Clarke (and I believe Raven might be coming along with him) than to help, but will hopefully be more of a team player once he breaks out of his tunnel vision.
