Hi guys!



Welcome to all the newbies, I'm Caprica, (player of that one tiny Magical Girl, aka Sakura Kinomoto) adding to the intro/new character train with Sorey here, from that latest Tales game where a boy runs around dorking over ruins, travels with the best pseudo family and Saves the World. Or something. aka, I mean Tales of Zestiria. Sorey is kind of sheltered and Special because he is a human who was brought up among seraphim (elemental spirits, can take various forms, usually look human but some are more animalistic or there are the normin....). Because of this, he can see and hear things other humans can't, due to the higher resonance he has. As the Shepherd tasked with dealing with the Lord of Calamity (aka the Big Bad of Zestiria), he can armatize. Which is. Essentially.....think Dragonball Z fusions, guys. Yup.

Personality wise? He's a Sunshine Child full of Optimism and Bravery/Recklessness. Essentially. Which is to say that he's essentially the foil to that Water Seraph, Mikleo. He doesn't like burdening others but will take on All the Burdens himself if it helps somehow. Doesn't always think before rushing into things and trusts far too easily as a result of being so sheltered in his upbringing. He loves ruins and history and is rather easily distracted by such. Literally ends up forgetting to eat sometimes because he's stuck in a book and just one more pag--oh. It's finished already? He gets excited over new things easily. And is obviously easily impressed because of said sheltered life.

He already has some friends/cast here, and I know this is a newer game so I might put up a post regarding spoilers? At present he is actually from about half or two thirds through canon point wise (Just after the shrines and that confrontation with Symonne in Pendrago.) but I could later update or castmates could be from later points, so. Yeah. I'll put something up for that in his journal in a bit.

Oh, and for newbies, or anyone less recently added to the game that wanted to poke me on plurk, it's caprican. And I. Think that is all. Looking forward to his shenanigans here at Futuro!

This is why he has his water bff and everyone else. To stop him being......as reckless and rash. Mostly.

Ultimate 'Sorey, no' from Mikleo. But this is juuuust as they have their Make Up Moment in-game, so.

...yeah, that is just. Way harsh, Mikkleo. Even the Clueless references shy from this one.

It's okay though. They make up afterwards. Mikleo's just always the one that will straight up tell Sorey 'no' and tease him a lot because they are childhood bffs. And essentially the main 'canon' ship of the game. Water bff is just kind of tsun okay. And was pissy/more interested in making sure his friends were safe at that point.

ahhh why don't i vidya more... i don't know much about sorey but he's always looks so cute and fun to play off of! c: can't wait to see him around~

He is a precious sunshine child. Yes. (Another one. And I....guess with armatization you could say it's sort of like him being a Magical Boy.) though I admit. With regards to my boys, they're usually the Jerks with a Heart of Gold type so. Sorey is an exception there.

ahh, jerks with hearts of gold are definitely very tempting to play... but i'm excited to see him around!

They are, yes. I have a few of them. Sorey was just too precious to resist the chance to play him though. I'm excited to play him and see where he goes with Futuro!

Omg optimism and recklessness ... I can see already that he is a precious child!!

He is. I love this nerd so much. The recklessness is what he has Mikleo around for, clearly. They've got this. Between the two of them.
