Thank you! A few more questions. I wasn't sure where to put these, if here or the other plot post was better. I definitely understand if some of the questions may not be able to be answered right now.
- Can the group inside the castle try to find and save the King? Is this a possibility they could accomplish, if they met certain parameters?
- Could they track down and confront Michel? Is Michel inside the castle?
- Would demon warding or combating the magical effect on the castle from the inside be possible through more natural means? For example, more superstition than magic, herbs retrieved from the kitchen, salt... This link gives sort of an idea of what they'd probably go for, to a brief degree. Essentially non-magic but still ritualistic means of dealing with what's going on, using normal household items around the castle. Collectively, the whole group would have the knowledge on how to carry these methods out.
