Okay, so there's a couple searches on banned recordings up already, one on past rebellions/political dissidents and one on the police force/military. Got any other subjects in mind you'd like to search for? I'm about to head off (sorry it took me so long to reply to this, whoops), but I'll try to think of some by tomorrow too so we can get it submitted before the deadline.

Maybe they could search for cover ups along the lines of like augments malfunctioning and hurting people who couldn't afford better ones, or ways that they left people in the lower levels to suffer in order to support the upper ones? Like cutting corners to not "waste" money on them but people got sick/died as a result?

Oh, if we want to make it about augments, I have an idea. It's a little different from yours, but. I dunno if you've done the Red Tape bounty, but if you have, we could search and see if there's anything about why the government pulled KlarTech's sponsorship? Since that was a huge inconvenience for a lot of people who had to get their augments replaced and in most cases couldn't afford it.

I did not do that bounty, but this sounds perfect! Zari would be wanting to look for something to help the little people who aren't necessarily with the movement since other people are covering that, so if you want to go with this angle, I'm down.

Ahhh I was going to volunteer for this, but it seems like someone already submitted an exploration for the banned recordings. And I think there's only one per group? Did you have any others in mind? I might be able to still find ways for Laphicet to group up.

We can still search for banned recordings! It just has to be for a different subject. So we can look for a different subject from the two currently posted (one is about past political dissidents, one is about the military/police force) or we can explore somewhere else, do you have a preference?

I don't really have a preference! Laphicet mostly just wants to help and find anything useful... I'm looking at Zari's player's suggestions (because I'm at work and stumped at my own ideas right now) - and I think trying to dig up information on any cover ups sounds cool?!

So I've got a top level here, and I'm also interested in threading out a purple bounty thread about dealing with some upper class jerks picking on lower class citizens! Aside from that, no specific plans, mostly just tagging around.

As far as exploration goes... Majima's not particularly great with computers, but if you need a Bruiser who was already plenty intimidating before he got Intimidate, points to self points to u. He's not a Negotiator, but he is pretty good at massaging information out of people!

i think ginko here would try to chat up some local upper class citizens to get a feel for whether they might be sympathetic to the plight of the lower or middle class, and/or search for individuals that might be a good fit for getting installed into the government if the current one is overthrown.

alternatively, he might ask around at the university about the history of the country to try to figure out what changed after the merging to make things as bad as they are now.

if neither of those sound interesting, he could tag along in a search for banned recordings. he's patient enough to dig through all that unmarked shit.

yeah i'd be down!! i'm leaning more toward the first thing than the second if that works.

i'm thinking as for approach, they might just try to engage them in a conversation in general, starting with casual smalltalk and slowly leading it into "man i heard [terrible thing] happened in the lower levels recently, that sure is frightening, i hope the vakdir cleans that area up sometime" sort of thing, and gauge the reaction to that??

Works for me, they could wander around a bit first and get an ear for some of the local water cool talk and use that to fit in as well!

I won't be top-leveling, so it's going to be more tagging in or closed prompts on my part. So, if you have some ideas in mind, I'd be happy to set something up! For exploration, I think he might tag along for banned recordings?

He's going to be helping people escape the broadcasting station and I would like him to later take part in the jailbreak. He really likes remaining VISIBLE to his teammates, but if you need him to go ~ghost~ invisible (which only applies to the non-spiritually innate types, those who can't see his heat signature, etc) for any reason, he can do that.

I'm also planning to have him take part in this player plot over here!

Hello! I meant to follow up on cr ages ago then died, but I'm here to try again.

I'm also eyeing both the jailbreak and the player plot, so if you think one of those would have better potential for shenanigans than the other, I'm all ears. Alternatively we could start with roombas and see where we get, since OOCly I assume the jailbreak won't be for a bit.

Aaa- late reply, sorry about that (I've been pretty tired lately tbh ahah), but I'd love to build up CR between these two! I'm down for doing the jailbreak plot when it goes up if you don't mind waiting for that. I think there can be fun shenanigans with that since they'll probably be running around fighting/avoiding Vakdir people :')

And jailbreak sounds like a perfect time to me! That said I completely forgot that she still can't see him, but I assume they have their magitek if nothing else, so we can work with that.

He can manually control his visibility now thanks to a magitek upgrade!! So he's pretty much 100% visible by default so Lissa can properly interact with him now :')

- Hanging out at the university w/ Veronica to collect poll data/investigate.
- Will help with getting out of broadcast center. He brought his flashlight from the exercise so if someone wants a lights out escape I’m game. Will NOT be caught.
- Will help with Urahara’s player plot, so if you need someone who can Negotiate or fight, he’ll be whatever you need him to be. After playing with the Roombas, he’s actually pretty good at catching them.
