Hi everyone! I'm Brandy and I'm bringing in Cullen Rutherford from Dragon Age. His canon point is post-Trespasser, so if you'd like to avoid spoilers, please let me know so I can make sure to avoid them in tags to your character(s).
Cullen's spent most of his life as a soldier, so he's well versed in military matters and trained in weapons of all kinds, though he favors blades. Personality-wise, he's blunt and straightforward. He says what he's thinking, he has very little patience for diplomacy, and he can be short-tempered and irritable. Unless he's in a mood, he's generally polite, though not overly gregarious. He doesn't like to talk about himself or his past beyond cursory details. He's got PTSD, claustrophobia, and he's recovering from an addiction to a magical substance called lyrium, though he's unlikely to speak of any of that.
He's also going to have his mabari with him. It's a pretty big dog and it's very smart. It's also unfortunately named Pup, because Cullen isn't creative when it comes to naming things. (Someone please teach him how to name a dog.)
I can be reached at
romancandle, which anyone's welcome to friend, or via PMs to Cullen's journal. It's great to be here and I look forward to playing with everyone!

by teaching olivia some pick-up lines in order to speak to men :'|)

Anyway, welcome! I'm Yosie, and I play the aforementioned Nico from Love Live, who is a pop idol who shares basically no traits with Cullen except for being short-tempered and irritable sometimes, and I guess being a character that I am fond of. I've played most of Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I haven't gotten to the Trespasser DLC just yet (I'm in the middle of the Jaws of Hakkon post-game), so I am one of those who will be avoiding those spoilers with until I get to that! Hope you have a good time here.

Okay, great! Thanks for letting me know! I don't anticipate that it'll come up in conversation (I can't see him talking about stuff like that) but I'll make sure to keep it out of any introspection that might come up in tags to you.

Anyway, hello, Brandy! It's a pleasure. My name is Lofn, and I'm playing Hawke here. She's from pretty early on in the DA games' timeline (9:34), so she's going to find that Cullen has...aged, maybe like a fine cheese? More seriously, if you'd like, I would have no problem not tagging/not having CR since I don't want to impose anything too unpleasant on him! (Not to mention world state differences.) I've played all of Inquisition + DLC so there's no worry about spoilers, but I play Hawke as a mage. In general she leaves Templars alone and knows her brother wanted to be one, so at least she's not hostile, and honestly at this point won't disbelieve that he's changed/a decade from further on in the future because magic.

I definitely don't mind you tagging me with Hawke. I don't imagine it'll get too unpleasant. They're not from the same world, so he won't expect her to act like anyone he knows or treat her like she's someone she's not. (Garrett's a mage too, though he was vaguely friendly with Cullen and sided with the templars in the end.) Cullen understands that mages can and do hold grudges against templars, and why, so if she dislikes him because of what he was or doesn't want to have much to do with him, it won't surprise him. And I always welcome negative CR, so either way, no worries!

Ah, then I would like to, I think it would be a very interesting situation. Marian was/is vaguely friendly at home with Cullen too so she won't be unpleasant per se, just a little weirded-out out to hear there's a male Hawke out there (though mostly she'll just want to know if he's good looking and hope he's not a blood mage lmao) and Not Surprised when she learns about Anders' little firework display. But I do also like an array of CR types, so if it goes that way, I welcome it. o7

Graham here also has ptsd, claustrophobia, and an adorable puppy pal (it's a wolf tho). I would love CR with them because they might really get each other!
welcome to the game. c:
