Their argument is sound, although the most compelling part of the argument is the ones making it; Daenerys and Loki both have an air of royalty inherent to them that the empresses sense and respect, and their combined negotiator skills make them very persuasive.

When the discussion is over, the empresses still need time to consider it, but Dany and Loki seem to have gone a long way in convincing them.
