Kylo is going to zoom in on the noble's district because that's the kind of asshole he is, so he will need one or more lady escorts -- preferably one who will prevent him from making a scene when he gets funny looks. He's decent at following directions once he's put in his place, so if you are up to the task, please assist.

Alternatively, if any lady nobles just want to be shadowed by a huge dude, he is good at that too.

He would also really like to go ogre hunting in the Flowerlands, but is lacking more modern day weapons to measure up to that task and will instead be happy to play bait.

Some thoughts/brainstorming...

If they can't get to the castle, Jason figures the next best thing is going to be working down the totem pole in order to work up it (ie smooze the nobles). He thinks he understands how to do that, so as long as he could get a noble disguise and a lady friend he'd be golden. Being a negotiator might help and although his understanding of politics/hierarchy is Western he figures it can't be TOO different. Jason would probably feel most comfortable trying to chat up a guard or two OR approaching the young, slim man. Hey dude, he understands being away from your significant other...bonding conversation?

Or, I also noticed we need negotiators at the Flowerlands...so if someone asked Jason to go there instead he wouldn't put up a fight.

As for the Ambush--Jason's going to be trying to protect/help as many people as he can. Might involve fighting/disarming opponents or might not. But if you're interested in that I do love a good action/fight thread. And I don't see Jason going down ogre hunting just yet.

Otherwise, I'm game for some bounties. I've always liked the idea of Jason being around birds (given his parentage)...but the tea one also sounds fun cause we might fight bandits!

I'm interested in the Ogre Bounty, as well as caring for bb birds and the sake tasting. YEAH GETTING SLIGHTLY SLOPPY ON SHADY LIQUOR.

Being from Japan and also from an organization that values the oldschool, Majima would be happy to help other characters find the good stuff, whether that's food or clothing. He can also help with how the heck you're actually supposed to put on a kimono, and I'd be delighted to have him play attendant to a female team member.

Veronica is someone Of Privilege and basically has a shimmer of "this is really obvious," but she will be concerned about the class system in place in this world, and how it hurts people. She'd be interested in talking to the spirited woman.

SO, i'm kind of considering having Simon be some kind of merchant or something for his backstory?? gotta disguise that superfluous oxygen tank somehow. Ok look I don't know he's probably just gonna tie a tarp around it and bundle up real good.

He's gonna be inclined to go for the commoner's district first, talking to the merchant lady and the couple and also searching the area like the dickens and hoping to god he finds some kind of mask. He'll definitely be taking the role of trying to get civilians out of danger in the ambush but he doesn't know how to fight so. Depending on how much of a risk-taker you've got, Simon's aware that the noble district is probably where the goods are at in terms of political information but really isn't expecting that to pan out (in his defense, you sort of have to look at him at the right angle to see the glowy robot eyes clearly. ITS FINE.) You can't be sure he's not a lady as long as he stays quiet but he wouldn't necessarily be super enthusiastic about that idea....

Maybe you need a spooky sentinel robot hobo in your party in one of these or any other scenario and you didn't even know it. Imagine. If you have any other ideas please do drop me a line at honchkrow!!

YEAH I IMAGINE SO..... theoretically we'll be free to thread out related things if we want/once we've got the info back, etc, I'd def want to wrangle a thread with rey one way or another. BUT FOR NOW I think it's just a matter of figuring out who's coming and what they're up to ig, you might have enough takers for two groups at this point

i'm gonna toss up some general prompts, but inuyasha likely won't make it into the nobility district unless someone wants to take his stupid ass. he doesn't have a single noble bone in his body tbqh and he'd be disgruntled about wearing a disguise b/c that's STUPID JUST LET HIM IN!! luckily, he at least has passable warrior/commoner clothes so he's not sticking out like a complete sore thumb

inuyasha does have access to super hearing and super smelling, tho, so if you think you need someone who can track something/someone, bully him into helping. oh, and he can carry a lot and jump really high??? make him a pack mule

at the ambush, he's going to be making sure people are ok, but also trying to capture/harass any attackers for information??? i'll do a prompt for it, so if you wanna help make a citizen's arrest, watch out for my post

unless someone is dragging him to the nobility district, he's gonna be best tagging along with a group doing the commoner's district or the flowerlands.
other than beat-em-up, he has enhanced hearing/smelling and crazy stamina/strength as mentioned above.

Uhhh! I'm kind of jumping in on some of the threads posted here. And as a spirit on this planet-- I'm going with some of the native humans might see him, some of them might not. So it's still risky for him and he can't just sneak around all over the place. I kind of want someone who can see him to maybe recommend a female disguise for him cause he does look kind of like one...

During the ambush, he'll be trying to take care of the burning stalls with his water spells. Even if he's invisible to most, his magic is visible! If you want some support from a spirit, he'll be there. He'll also be trying to heal the humans that are able to perceive his presence, as well as during the morning after the ambush.

Exploration-- I think he's best to be tagging alone (or stalking as a spirit i guess lkjfds) I was considering on having him help out in the Flowerlands with the young huntress for the ogre or...! Try to sneakily eavesdrop on conversations in Commoner's District while looking over some cool wares.

I'M ALSO INTERESTED IN BOUNTIES. HMU if anyone wants to do one together?!

Hayame has decided to do her best to be helpful during this mission, so she will primarily be making herself available as a teacher of feudal Japanese manners/culture in so far as they are useful, as well as a bodyguard/female escort for those male among Hathaway's number.
