ANNOUNCEMENTS Hi, worldhoppers! Let's get started. PLOT UPDATE Those in the city square will see it firsthand, but even if they aren't, word will spread quickly. The king issues a decree: all goblins will be confined to the outskirts unless they have business reasons not to be. Regardless, they have a curfew; by 7PM, all must be inside their homes or risk arrest. POLL RESULTS Remember that poll you took awhile ago? It's time for results! How often would you like app cycles? The prevailing option was bi-monthly; this means the next app cycle will be in about a month. How long would you like missions to last? Most people said a few months, so that's what I'll do! All of them will have slightly different lengths, probably, depending on how the plot progresses, but we'll stay around that time frame. How much downtime would you like between missions? 77.5 percent of people said a month. The downtime will have plot-related things to do, but will also be there so people can wrap up threads from the previous mission. Would you like a character cap? This was a pretty divided question. Most people said other. For right now, I'd like to stick with 70, since I'd envisioned the game starting with closer to 30 players. It's likely to raise in the future once we have a mod team in place, though! How must ALASTAIR NPC involvement would you like? The prevailing answer was some, so that's how it'll remain; there'll be more opportunities for NPC interaction during downtime, but I'd like to work some more involvement in during missions as well. MOD APPLICATIONS So, this game needs more than one mod, definitely! I'd most like some app and list mods, because taking care of that while working on plot is definitely difficult. I'd also like some co-mods, though, especially since I don't want the game to die should I have to step down. If you're interested in applying, there's more information here!
