EVENT PLOTTING: LABYRINTH

ASTERION LABYRINTH

THE MAZE

The hijacked Asterion Prison has crashed into Asterion Labyrinth, which was coincidentally where their destination was in the first place. There is no apparent way to scale or tunnel through the high walls of the maze, so characters must now go deeper inside in order to find a way out: a supposed "emergency exit" located in the center.

The labyrinth is made of stone with similar properties to that of the ship -- while nothing here dampens anyone's powers, the stone itself is invulnerable to any damage, and to prevent anyone from simply flying out or climbing over, there is a laser net stretching from wall to wall. The labyrinth is overgrown with moss and other climbing plants, and there are occasional pools and small waterfalls to be found. But where there's water, there must be life, and the labyrinth is no different: monsters live here, and the skeletons that can be found should make it pretty clear that whatever lives here is hungry.

NOTES
Please use this post to plot for this event! If you have any questions about the labyrinth, you can direct them to the Leramzen dossier. You may also use that question thread to handwave conversations/interactions with NPC survivors, including Cecily, George, and the blue-skinned Zymandis agent, as well as correctional officers and other inmates.

Death symbols are still present, and contact with anyone via magitek except for Audentes (and George) continues to be disabled.

Questions about the game in general should be directed to the FAQ and you may submit mission ideas or player plots at any time.

/bottles those tears

He can surely handle things like vaguely edible meals. I'd bet gil it wouldn't be the first time that proved itself necessary.

good, eight's been promoted to their resident chef. noctis will provide the dead animals, and eight can skewer and grill them into a vaguely edible state. he believes in eight.

He's no Ignis, but he can keep them fed at least.

And one day he really will get Noctis to eat salad. Just...sprinkle some bacon bits in there or something.

He's a good lad. Noctis may have fiber content in his diet just yet. Ty for looking after his colon

You know what they say: happy colon, happy life...

Alright maybe they don't say that but he'll be healthier for it. And being healthy helps in keeping up with training, right?

Get Eight in your hobby, Noctis. Because his is boring.

he'll make a junior fisher out of him, yet. I wonder if section 6 has any fishing holes they can capitalize on...

I'm going to vote in support of this...vary their diet from monster meat a little.

Speaking of diets, it looks like Eight's getting some supplies, so they'll have that too as provisions go. Who votes for foisting the armor off on Prompto?

Well, given Prompto's propensity for dying at the drop of a hat in my game, he probably needs it more than any of them.

Also Noctis got a dead snake carcass and a pistol, so that's more stuff going to Prompto. It's like Xmas for their little big in Eight's case friend

Gosh, Prompto's cup floweth over...

He really does need the equipment more than Nuketis or Wrecking Eightball though. At least they've got him covered. How fresh is the snake? I hear tell it tastes like chicken.

It's more just bones with more bones inside ...but if they want to go pre-historic, they can make some crude tools out of the bones. Which is useless when they have modern weapons handy, so his find is quite useless in the end.

Wow, that's pretty bony. Maybe they can get creative...but at least the pistol's useful. Equip your bro, Noct.

Shame there aren't any vending machines to be found though, then they'd really be in business.
