Look, it's been a rough few weeks for Woodhurst. we all need a break. and that is why I come to you with a plotting post for a PLAYER PLOT, involving everyone's favorite getaway... the mall!

Is there a chance your character could be swept away by the shopping experience Woodhurst Shopping Center has to offer? Ever wanted to run for your life from infected through the food court? Is it your dream to hole up in Hot Topic and pray the security gate doesn't fail you? If so, this plot is for YOU!

While the event itself is going up MARCH 11th, this post is a little cheat-sheet of the event, and created for the ease of plotting and planning! You can find a premade form you can utilize below if you so desire as well. So get out there, plan your shopping strategy, and hope that the frozen yogurt place still runs in an infected out break!

(08:00-18:00) TIME FOR A SHOPPING EXTRAVAGANZA!
The shopping center has experienced a notable decline in wake of Bristol's rise as well as the influence of riots. Determined to get more crowds in the door, the mall planned an event of shopping and fun for residents of Woodhurst. Characters can look to do a little shopping, enjoy the activities, and maybe even have a little fun. At least, until...

(18:00-23:00) LOCK IT DOWN.
After an infected attack in the foodcourt, the entire mall goes into automatic lockdown. Despite security attempts to handle the outburst, some infected are roaming the halls. Civilians will be trying to find security in any of the stores, and there will be injured to deal with. A group of Audentes members from inside the mall will work at breaking into the security office.

(00:00-02:00) ZOMBIES, HUH? I HAD A FEELING YOU'D SHOW UP.
Late in the night, numbers of infected in the mall will increase. Characters will be tasked with protecting civilians, as well as identifying how the infected are entering the mall when no one else seems to. Access to the outside will be located at this time!

(04:00-09:00) EVERYTHING MUST GO.
With access to the mall, members of Audentes inside and out of the shopping center must unite to deal with any remaining infected. Time to team up, and ask some hard questions... like what to do with the bitten and injured civilians as well as the infected left roaming the halls!

WHY WAS YOUR CHARACTER IN THE MALL? at the pet store getting treats and toys for Bro. I'm sorry he is like this.
PLANS FOR THE EVENT:
— Graham is gonna be spearheading the process of breaking into the security office! Any characters interested in watching the screens or helping him with it, hit me up!
— Once there, he'll probably have an ic network communication post (though I might put it in the log to keep everything in one place???) he'll be trying to get audentes members to help civilians.
— when the clean-up comes around, he'll be on the side of trying to spare infected and lure them away over killing them.
OFFERED SKILLS:
— He Never Misses. So if he gets his hands on some cd-roms, dead rising style, be damn careful.
— He's also a decent survivalist and good in a fight!
— He will also have some insight of what is going on in the mall, as long as he's in the security office. If people want mini-missions of civilians in need (think cases in Dead Rising), he will be your Irish Otis. I would love to think of some for people, just let me know!

WHY WAS YOUR CHARACTER IN THE MALL? Shopping for more suits and ties and shirts and cufflinks and shoes >.>
PLANS FOR THE EVENT: Disabling infected, playing meat shield probably, breaking into locked spaces people want to access, that kind of thing/
OFFERED SKILLS: Gio has autonomic regeneration so he heals instantly and can even regrow limbs, which means he's in a good position to combat infected or play meat shield for those who need protection! He's also working with the police whilst he's in Woodhurst so maybe his official role might be handy for calming panicked citizens. He's also very strong, fast, and agile, with the ability to punch through a human body with just his hands, so if they need to do any breaking and entering he could help with this!
ANYTHING ELSE? To say Giovanni has grey morals is kind of an understatement, and he's also inclined to think mercy killing is the way to go for late stage infected. He'll be armed with two pistols and he can be trigger happy. If someone wants to play at being his conscience and remind him there's still a chance infected could be cured, and that he ought to incapacitate rather than kill, please go ahead! He's trying but can get overexcited and forget >.>

Not sure how good at being a conscience Genos is, but he could try. He's assuming that since the cure is in the works, it's best to not kill the infected - but breaking limbs to immobilize them totally makes sense. But then back, in his world, a lot of the monsters came from transformed humans, and were dealt with pretty brutally...

PLANS FOR THE EVENT:
- Emma will probably help Graham break into the security office if he needs people for that.
- She will be using all kinds of ridiculous items as weapons, sneaking into stores to get what she needs.
- Probably gonna try to protect people and see about getting certain areas secure to keep them safe until access is found.
- Definitely going to be in support of rounding up and guiding the infected away from the general population.

WHY WAS YOUR CHARACTER IN THE MALL? theoretically: errands. in actuality: errands but, you know, some crime as long as he's there. please don't ask about the suspicious amount of wallets on his person, that's rude, why don't *you* have 3-5 wallets with you
PLANS FOR THE EVENT: Being a weird and kind of sketchy teenager. Fugo will prioritize getting in touch with other Audentes team members, although he'll be plainly leery and distrustful about working with strangers. His take on the infected will be a preference towards disabling/containing them, but life's rough when you're trapped in a mall with people who want to eat you so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He'll probably be popping around helping with gathering and transporting supplies, opening locked doors, and helping out with disabling infected when he can. who wants some oj or coffee creamer??
OFFERED SKILLS:
- Breaking and entering! Fugo is a gangster, he's good at getting into places he doesn't belong. He's also good at taking things that don't belong to him, like keys off of staff members.
- Emergency first aid! Fugo is pretty good at assessing/helping get wounds to a "you can make it until we get you to a proper doctor" state.
- Pretty good in a crisis! Fugo is snappish and rude, but he won't be panicking. He's a problem solver, ok.
- In a dire, dire emergency, Fugo has the great supernatural ability to melt a guy in ~30 seconds! He will not ... tell anyone he has this ability! But he has it and if the need arises, that's a thing that he can make happen.

PLANS FOR THE EVENT: Peridot can use her metal powers to trap infected inside stores by helping lure them inside and then slamming the metal grates on them, effectively caging them. As she can't be infected, she can run circles around them and help out anyone in danger.

WHY WAS YOUR CHARACTER IN THE MALL? SHE WORKS THERE. Bonafide rent-a-cop. Don't ask why Dogberry was there (spoilers, he wasn't supposed to be but she snuck him in anyway.)
PLANS FOR THE EVENT: Priority number one will be helping to get into the security office, given that she works for mall security. After that, protection squad go! She'll be focusing mainly on civilians, but obviously she won't leave an Audentes team member behind. Dogberry will be lending his dog services to help corral infected as well.
OFFERED SKILLS: Undyne is a fish of many talents. She can do things like:
- jump really far and run really fast
- hit things really, really hard
- conjure magical spears

Dogberry has many talents too:
- smart for a dog

IN LOCKDOWN OR ON OUTSIDE? lockdown... and outside. one of naruto's clones got caught outside arguing with mall attendants for trying to climb into the carts (HE'S NOT FROM HERE OK HE DIDNT KNOW) when the lockdown happened. now he's stuck. naruto can easily dispell him but naruto is keeping him around just incase he proves useful for them finding a way out. (the downside to this is that naruto's overall power is halved while he's trapped in the mall, because half of it is outside with his clone)
WHY WAS YOUR CHARACTER IN THE MALL? naruto can't resist shiny things covered in a language he can't understand, and a mall is basically that. the eternal search for ramen continues.
PLANS FOR THE EVENT: naruto will be focusing mostly on protecting people because thats his Shounen Jam, but he'll also be trying to look for a way out between runs using the aforementioned clone. his clones can't be infected by the virus cause they arent technically alive (insert clones are people too argument here) so inside he's using them to distract zombies while he scoops innocents up and delivers them to an empty storefront. if anyone has a better place for him to stockpile survivors, he's up for that. he's also up for just.. generally helping out anyone who needs him, if that's cool. he works best when helping people.
OFFERED SKILLS:
- is a ninja, literally; he can run super fast and can throw pretty accurately
- can walk up walls and across ceilings
- can make around 20 clones (more if he pushes himself, but inside the mall he can probably make around 10 max due to his power being halved)

PLANS FOR THE EVENT: Genos can't help and has to play the hero. The fact that he's probably immune to the infection only will inspire him to work harder at that. He can protect those in need, or act as a bait and distraction to take attention of himself onto himself. Since there is still hope for a cure, he will try to rather immobilize the infected, instead of killing them, but the well-being of those healthy take a priority.

PLANS FOR THE EVENT: He's probably going to obtain like, a box of Drumsticks at the very least before the lockdown hits were there Drumsticks yet in the early 90's idk, which means that his main goal will be getting himself/fellow trapped folk out of dodge before this shit melts!! He will shove aside a zombie for this ice cream, he will shove aside two dozen zombies if he has to, his priorities are in the right place here ok. If things stretch on long enough he'll probably give up and share ice cream with any partners he's run into along the way between zombie attacks so it doesn't go to waste, at least...
OFFERED SKILLS: He's a Very Strong Guy, for all your meatshield needs! Honestly if punching through a security barrier or two is what it takes to break them out of lockdown he'll offer to do this...somebody please stop him from ripping into the doors too conspicuously....but that aside he's also very experienced when it comes to grabbing random urban objects and weaponizing them instantly, so! The mall is truly a garden of opportunity for this. Though he has a pocket stop sign too, which he will probably be breaking out in a pinch at least once.

WHY WAS YOUR CHARACTER IN THE MALL? Probably shopping for crop tops and scarves. (Or more realistically, he's just wandering around, and this is a prime example of why he needs an adult at all times.)
PLANS FOR THE EVENT: Most likely being a Big Damn (Shounen) Hero and looking out for those who can't defend themselves while trying to disable/trap the infected. Watch out for his secret technique.
OFFERED SKILLS: Joseph is tall and strong just at a baseline, but he's also got hamon which is magical breathing bullshit that lets you channel sun/life energy. And then there's that old Joestar secret technique.
