Hello, Futurology! This is a note to say that during this discussion on Lance's post, he and Sonia came up with a plan to sneak into the labs and steal some pharmaceuticals and syringes to make everyone a tranquiliser that can be used if things get out of hand. Sonia will be making it as she has knowledge of medicine and Lance will be using the tracking app on the magitek to deliver the syringes to everyone - they will be hidden inside bouquets of flowers as he will be using his job as a front. These will be delivered around day 3/4 just so they have time to get the supplies, make them and deliver them to everyone. (Lena is also happy to thread out deliveries with people if anyone wants to do that!)

This is not a pernament solution and is merely an escape option should your character need it. It's a muscle relaxant, and something that causes sleep and confusion so anyone sick will lose the ability to move their body and will just pass out basically.

Along with the syringe Sonia will put it inside a card with a list + small diagrams of the best places to use it if you have a chance.

There will be only one syringe per person, with another note saying to contact either of them (Lance or Sonia) if you need another in the future. It is a bit risky stealing 80 syringes to begin with so there's only one each for now.

It may come in handy!! It's more for those that can't defend themselves too well or their powers draw too much attention so it would be good to get more out there! You don't need as much of the medicine so it wouldn't stand out that much but they... do (because people auto assume you're using them for heroine obv)

laughs five seconds of looking says 0.3 mL, but I was also just wondering.. stealing any stickers indicating it was an epipen... and putting it on something else

since most people would likely not know the difference at a casual glance

you could probably hide it in like a glasses case or something... as it's probably need to be a 10ml syringe to ensure they're properly knocked out. It's actually a powder/liquid dissolved into water. The reason we went with syringe is because we couldn't get tranq darts and it's not like you can go up to an infected person that's infecting you and ... spike... their drink [bleak]

LMAO NO I KNOW I'm just thinking about other means of carrying things, particularly for an elementary kid, just random things she can keep in her backpack

noasdf lkj yes, I know, I promise I'm not that oblivious falkj I'm also considering random stranger attacks... but mostly random strangers getting calmed temporarily by hugs and then having the problem of "help, someone please pull out the needle and inject this person I can't hug them and do this at the same time" (as in amusing but relevant possibilities in the future)

sdSDG No I get you!!! It's more that there are smaller ones which are more commonly used which is what I mean as I know I wasn't clear on how big they'd have to be. Like really it may overdose some people too especially anyone quite small etc so it's risky stuff which is why it's labelled as in an emergency.

If someone can be calmed by a hug, perhaps it'd be a good idea for her to make a note to not use the entire solution but really they're making these on day 2 before too much information is properly known about how bad it gets. They're just preparing for the Worst is what I should say, I suppose.

and yeah i should have clarified that as it's day 2 they don't know how bad things will be, and they're both avid zombie movie watches + Sonia's world ... has had similar things happen so she's just expecting the Worst.
