Giovanni's ring shows twisting, labyrinthine rooms and hallways, all glaring white, with one large arena-esque room at it's centre. In the centre of the room stands a woman, her hair streaming out behind her. Occasionally, the figures of three small children with metal collars around their necks can be glimpsed moving through the corridors and rooms. The children are himself, Lily, and Heine, but he's highly unlikely to ever reveal this fact and will keep the ring close to him at all times but will never openly wear it.
It's a bit of a rose with very sharp thorns as far as gifts go-- there's a sense of familiarity and groundedness that comes from looking at it, for him, but also other, more convoluted feelings. Loss and dread, longing and bitterness. Jealousy and love.
