Hello, Futurology! Adding to the new faces around here, my name is KC and I'm pulling in Chihiro from the 2001 Studio Ghibli film Spirited Away! She's post film, and as such doesn't fully remember the Spirit World right now. She'll be remembering her time there as her memory gets jogged by events here!

laughs, it's wonderful to meet you, lena! and no worries, it's like with any movie — we've all seen some of them, not others. i like how i'd find it more sad if you'd never seen alien/aliens (... as my friends can tell you, i love having people watch those films) BUT YES bringing in another young one, who may be a little confused but generally glad that everyone is really nice. in this. time-world hopping organisation, just another sane day in the life of everyone here!

it's okay i was just That Kid who stumbled into alien/aliens through weird television watching habits, it's one of those weird cases where alien and the last unicorn were some of my most watched preteen & teen years films /stares into distance

LAUGHS in the spirit world she ends up in, the spirits complain about her scent and offer up that eating her is legit, why not do that. haku even makes it an offer of "if she's not useful in three days we can boil her for stew" and her parents were both turned into pigs... meat pigs. to keep the bathhouse with food... it's got special levels of awful in there WHICH FUTURO LACKS (so far) SO HUZZAH

Yes... it sure did. I'm actually not even caught up because I just started reading a few months ago, because I'm a strange person who gets into series after they cease to be relevant.

Honest it's probably even easier that way, usually it's just a wee bit frustrating if you're missing most of an active fandom time... but usually there's enough of what's there to consume that it's pretty cool all around!
