Hello from the land of 'Jesus Effing Christ What Now?' This month started off strong with a major disturbance, lulled in the middle with a minor tragedy, then recovered its strength and suckerpunched me good a few minutes ago. August is a hateful monster of a month. All I wanted to do was watch the Olympics and not be a tag failure. Fat chance. Hopefully once I get through this latest period of small-town mourning and speculation I'll be able to. (And we're not even properly halfway through the month! Who knows what terrible wonders are yet to come, folks! Stay tuned!)
