Character name: Sigma Klim Character journal:12inches Preexisting skills: Nil. He's a modern day college kid, his closest brush with the ~arts of combat~ is maybe a bar fight. He knows how to throw a punch without breaking his thumb and that's about it. Faced off against normal equally untrained humans/creatures, he does have a knack for grappling enemies into submission; size, strength, and tenacity are definite advantages for him. Otherwise... help... Skills sought: For starters, basic hand-to-hand/self defense/reading one's opponent in general. He could probably be convinced to pick up a weapon of some sort, but a foundation is more important. Notes: Even if he butts heads, Sigma meshes pretty well with anyone if they aren't a complete asshole (or if they're female, but that's their problem not his). He's a quick learner and would really dedicate himself to not being useless anymore, even if he might get frustrated in the beginning. Most of his hang ups are in the doing-actual-damage/killing-anyone-or-thing department, hence the hesitation on the pointy weapons front. If he's paired with anyone smaller than him (or female) for training or sparring, he'll definitely be pulling his punches, so breaking him out of that is probably top priority.
