King is among those left behind on Pu'ulai, and since he's suffering from power burnout, he's going to be big on investigating as much as he can. Possibly dragging Ban around with him, if anyone would have fun with that. If you want a pal to search corpses and ritual circles with, he's your fairy. Finding those who were carried away will be his top priority though, since he and Ban both owe some of the people who have disappeared.
