Hi everyone! I'm Bec, and I'm bringing in Dezel from Tales of Zestiria ... and adding to the Zestiria train that just happened, whoa.

Dezel is a grumpy anti-hero type - like grumpy cat if he were pretending to be Batman. And only if Batman were a giant nature nerd as well. He's stand offish, difficult to get close to and likes to be about as social as a brick wall... but he's a good guy at heart and when he cares about something he cares about it deeply. He's a wind seraphim, and, as the name would imply, can control and use the wind to his advantage in battle and everyday situations (see: windstepping, and the ability to catapult Shepards and Squires across ledges and other such platforms).

He's also really easy to wind up. I highly recommend it, wind him up as much as you can he reacts like a grumpy old man.

As Zestiria is fairly new, I've put up an opt out post here so please let me know if you're aiming to avoid spoilers. As a general rule I'm planning on keeping things spoiler free unless told otherwise, or in a thread with castmates.

My plurk is fizzyopolis, annnd I'm... actually on holiday right now, so my starters may be a little spotty and I'm still working on getting Dezel's journal up to scratch. Casts are always fun. And as many issues are there are with Zesty, the characters are wonderful so there's that. Also wow. Don't play games, Dezel is like a teeny child in comparison to Edna agewise and her teeny height is no excuse not to adult.

Heeey. Ah, Zestiria's a complex one. If you can get a secondhand or cheaper copy I'd recommend that - I love the game, flaws aside, but I can forgive games a multitude of sins for good characters and Zestiria has a great cast. That being said I still had fun with it, so I hope you enjoy it!

And Dezel's hat is the best, thank you for acknowledging his snazzy headgear. C: I'm happy to be here, thank you. Looking forward to getting started.

Nice to meet you, RW! ... heh, I was actually halfway through UBW before I went on holiday so I can say I know something about the show in general! And Extra, which was the only thing I knew Archer from before.

Grumpy older-than-they-look characters should stick together... and by stick together I probably mean "stand in the corner with their arms folded saying very little unless prompted". Dezel's good at that.
