Hello, Futurologists! Here are some quick update notes to keep you abreast of behind-the-scenes tweaks:
NEWBIE AC. Previously, we had newbie AC requirements depend on what time of month a new character was accepted: before the 15th of the month and they needed full AC, and after the 15th waived them of AC requirements entirely. Because we are no longer holding rolling apps and can schedule when new players come in, we realized this distinction is now irrelevant. From now on, new characters need to provide one proof in the month they were accepted. This proof does not need to be plot-marked.
NPC THREADS. Going forward, NPC threads do not count toward AC. We neglected to add this into our AC rules during the transition between S1 and S2, but it's in there now!
TEST DRIVE THREADS. Current characters may use TDM threads for AC. This means that only characters who are in the game at the time of the thread may use it for AC; characters who just apped in may not use the threads as anything more than app samples. TDM threads do not count as plot-marked proofs.
